File Structure

The template file you downloaded contains several folders. Let's take a closer look at what each subdirectory contains:

Screenshots - Template examples are included. Not for use in manufacturing.
  • theme -includes WordPress theme assets
  • "cyber-security-pro" - This folder includes all of the files required for the theme.
  • "license.txt" -contains license details
  • "readme.txt" This file has information on the theme images path, usage script, and font.

My site used to work fine before. How were the file permissions changed?

It's possible that WordPress won't be able to make folders, upload files, or execute scripts if the file permissions have been configured incorrectly.

WordPress requires authorization in order to control files and make folders on the server.

  • Select File Permissions from the context menu when you right-click on any folder in the main directory.
    1. Go to wp-config
    2. Now we'll look at the permissions dialogue window.
    3. tick the check box read and write
    4. To proceed, press the OK button.
  • Follow the same procedures for the wp-content subdirectory.
